Welcome to my webpage. I am Economist with a Postgraduate in Quantitive Methods for Economic Analysis. I work at the Ministry of Economy. Also, I work as a Research Assistant with Hamilton Galindo, Ph.D. at Research Institute in Economics and Finance (RIEF). Here you can find information about my research and teaching.

Academic Highlights

In this section, I would like to showcase some notable achievements and experiences from my academic journey.

Course in Excellence in Economics

I participated in the Course of Excellence in Economics, organized by FEN-UCHILE. Based on hard-working and perseverance, I had an outstanding performance obtaining one of the first places among many exceptional students.

Increase in the National Minimum Wage and Employment

The existence of a non-linear relationship between employment and the national minimum wage was found, which implies that a very high wage increase could have counterproductive effects on the composition of the formal and informal sectors.
